European Sourcing Lead

Due to impressive growth over the last 6 years our client is adding an experienced buyer / sourcing professional to their supply chain team in their Dublin operation. This group manages supply chain for the European manufacturing group.

Role outline

    * Responsible for meeting the targets and deliverables set by the Region Sourcing Manager
    * Ensure the supply and quality of goods to the different manufacturing Region
    * Manage unit stakeholder relationships and requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities
    * Implementation of and participate in regional and category led sourcing initiatives
    * Participate in supplier negotiations, selection, contracts, management and compliance based on corporate strategic processes and aligned with category management
    * Responsible for strategic supplier relationships.
    * Drive Region Supplier Development and Risk Management process
    * Manage stakeholder relationships and requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities.
    * In charge of sourcing of the defined materials.

Experience / Education Required

    * Extensive experience in the areas of sourcing or supply chain management.
    * Degree / Masters qualified in the areas of in Business, Engineering, Materials Management or equivalent
    * Related spend expertise is an asset.
    * Demonstrated experience working on sourcing projects
