Customer Order Administrator 6 mth Contract

Role, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Department:   Customer Operations
Reports to:      Service Assurance & Process Development Manager

Key Purpose of the Role:
To manage business and residential orders through the customer delivery process


Principal Responsibilities:
 To validate all orders received from sales pipeline, ensuring all orders fulfill the minimum prerequisites and include signed contract paperwork.
 Deal with exceptional orders with the relevant departments in a timely manner.
     Ensure timely communication with customers with regards to their queries
 Manage exceptional orders within agreed SLA’s.
 Manage order pipeline ensuring that orders are delivered with SLA.
 Co-ordinate installations with Field Operations and customers.
 Manage customer churn ensuring services are cancelled on time and third party circuits are cancelled.
 Deal with queries both from internal and external customers.
 Provide feedback to Process Development Manager in relation to areas for automation/ further efficiencies


Person Specification:

Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)

Experience
 Previous experience in a telecoms environment is essential
 Experience of working in a team based environment
     Must be able to work on own initiative
     Experience in relation to LLU, Bitstream and WLR process is essential


Skills
 Must possess strong organisational skills
 Computer literate and proficient in the MS office suite, especially in Excel & Outlook
 Experience with Salesforce application is desirable but not essential
 The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


Training/Certification
 A third level qualification in any discipline or 5 years in a similar role
