Head of Activations

Job description
We are currently recruiting for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to join our dynamic amp activations team.
As the head of department nationally, you are accountable to manage and grow amp activations by maintaining and growing current client relationships while seeking new businesses opportunities. You will be responsible for the operational flow of the activations business by developing systems and driving efficiencies against KPI\'s. Your goal will be to drive profitability whilst growing our client base and ensuring that strategically and creatively amp delivers and exceeds expectations.
Key responsibilities:
Build and nurture close relationships with existing clients;
Establish and maintain ethical, social and cultural responsibilities for advertising and activations in the areas of information persuasion and consumer protection;
Motivate, lead and mentor the national team to achieve and deliver goals;
Contribute or drive the management of all project tools and templates including - Briefs, project plans, status reports, payment schedules, measurements and evaluation reports and reconciliations;
Oversee and develop all operational systems within amp activations to maximise how it operates in dealing with clients;
Manage and oversee all logistical requirements of amp including stores, promotional elements, transport and security;
Be accountable for the profitability of the business unit;
Ensure invoicing and financial administration under your responsibility is of delivered accurately and on time
Contribute to the achievement of, or exceeding of, all key financial targets for the business;
Ensure creative work is properly and timeously briefed and that the creative solution process is managed within deadlines;
Participate in creative brainstorms relative to client and brief requirements;
Assist with identifying pro-active creative opportunities to add extra value to client brands;
Ensure that creative are constantly kept up to speed as to activation best practice to ensure that you are constantly driving excellent ideas and executions on activation briefs.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Effective and accurate reporting;
• Adding value by identifying opportunities to improve current practices and creative work;
• Maintain the integrity of the company\'s standards;
• Maintaining client relationships ensuring constant communication.
Requirements:
• 10 years working experience;
• Agency experience is preferable;
• Acute attention to detail;
• Strong administrative and organisational skills;
• Strong presentation skills - verbal and written;
• Management experience;
• Strong experiential and through the line experience.
