Junior Web Designer Urgent, Location Southern Suburbs, Western Cape, Are you proactive, forward thinking, independent, attentive and creative?

Do you have at least 1-2 years’ experience?

 Overview: Create and edit innovative artwork on design software for advertisements, company branding, packaging and the products for e-commerce store. Manage e-commerce site and social media marketing – backend and frontend, online mailers, social media ads. Conceptualise, compose and design CADs/graphics/images from taking product photos through to editing images and loading to the relevant systems. Create product briefs to assist the sourcing team. Research to keep up to date on new and fashionable online trends. Team work on projects from concept through to execution.

 Requirements: Relevant degree/diploma in Design: graphic design, web development. Photoshop (9/10): photo manipulate, deep etch, 3D, mock ups. Illustrator (8/10): trace, vector combine, transparencies, layout, design and print ready. InDesign: such as (CS6 – CC). Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Competent in Powerpoint (7/10). Basic photography skills for product shots. Interpersonal skills to deal with workflow and suppliers. Some understanding of the retail industry would be helpful.
