Senior Forest Technicians (x2)

As a Senior Forest Technician you will be responsible to provide technical and supervisory expertise to project teams in all aspects (field and office) of multiphase timber development including timber reconnaissance, field engineering, riparian and ecological assessments, GPS traversing, and timber cruising.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry.
Broad understanding and experience general forestry practices and opera-tional forest planning.
Registered with, or eligible to be registered with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals.
Minimum of 3 years of multiphase timber development experience in British Columbia.
Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
In addition, all candidates should demonstrate the following:
Enthusiasm, a passion for forestry, and for working outdoors.
A professional, friendly and courteous manner, being service & team orient-ed.
Initiative and perseverance.
Ability to work independently under limited direct supervision.
Proficiency in supervising one other technical assistant.
Experience in working outdoors in all weather conditions.
