Our client is one of best through the line agencies in South Africa and they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate must be able to run multiple, retail driven accounts simultaneously. The job requires a candidate who is able to liaise with clients to decipher their business needs and successfully translate these into briefs that will inspire Strategists and Creatives alike. It is essential to be driven and solutions orientated.

What will I do: The day-to-day management of clients’ marketing and advertising campaigns. Managing and working alongside a team. Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level. The organisation of client feedback. Generating accurate reports and briefs. Pitching new concepts and ideas to clients. Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget.

What do I need: Experience in Project Management. An understanding of Above the Line agency processes. An in-depth understanding of production processes - Above the Line, radio, television, print, et cetera - is mandatory. Experience in working with Media houses is also essential. Experience in managing budgets and account finances. Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communication or Advertising. Digital experience will be adantageous.

What do I need to be: A strategic thinker. An excellent written and verbal communicator. Have a solutions driven personality. A strong problem-solver. Able to cope under pressure.

Salary: RR22k - 25k per month
