General Machinist
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $24.43 to $30.47 Hourly for 42.5 hours per week, As per collective agreement, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Pension Plan Benefits, Vision Care Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Machinist Trade Certification
Experience: 5 years or more
Work Setting: General manufacturing, Transportation - road/rail/marine
Type of Machine Experience: Conventional
Machining Tools and Machines: Boring machines, Drill presses, Engine lathes, Milling machines, Sawing machines
Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Repair machine tools and parts, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
