Location, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time, Internal Sales Representative. My client from heavy engineering concern is seeking an Internal Sales Representative role to join their team to be based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements: Tertiary Diploma in Sales / Engineering / Business. 2 years in Sales / Engineering. Strong Administrative skills. Some technical/engineering knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibility Duties: Constant customer interaction, primarily by means of telephone calls and emails is a core function. Field and respond to customer enquiries efficiently and diligently to ensure that clients receive the highest level of customer service. Maintain open and regular communication with clients to ascertain business needs, identify opportunities and ensure satisfaction. Communicate potential opportunities and requirements to Sales management for investigation and follow-up. Provide regular feedback to management regarding clients’ future strategies and activity in the market. Prepare quotations by means of ascertaining the client’s technical requirements and timeline, accurately detail and cost the scope of supply to ensure detailed, accurate and professional quotations, that meet the customers’ needs, and conform to the company’s commercial policies.

Liaise with internal Sales, Operations. Logistics and Legal team members to ensure a technically and commercially correct response to the client. Verify with clients that quotations meet their requirements, and follow up regularly, to ensure that the company is in the best possible position to win any potential business. On receipt of a Purchase Order, conduct contract review to ensure that all technical and commercial details are in line with the quotation and relevant specifications.

Highlight and notify associated departments of their required input to the order, drawing attention to any specific or non-standard commercial or technical requirements. Regularly follow up with clients, and internally, to ensure customer satisfaction and that the job is progressing as planned. Tenders: assist with the preparation and compiling of Commercial and Technical tender submissions, in strict accordance with specific tender requirements. Carrying out all duties in accordance with the quality Control procedures /departmental works instructions. Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area. Carry out all duties safely and in accordance with the Health & Safety policies. Salary: RMarket related
