Iron Worker
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $15.00 to $23.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Edmonton South, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver\'s License
Experience: Experience an asset
Major Work Area: Fabrication
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial, Commercial
Area of Specialization: Fabricate and repair ornamental iron and non-ferrous components
Welding Techniques: Gas metal ARC (GMAW) (MIG)
Specific Skills: Align, weld or bolt units in place
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Perform job-site calculations
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver\'s licence
Essential Skills: Writing, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
Languages: English
