Job Duties: Position Overview:
President, Blue Hive Canada is the senior Acct Mgmt rep on Ford Canada business w/ responsibility for successful development and implementation of marketing communication initiatives, and directing implementation to achieve business strategies. Will report to COO, Team Detroit and Blue Hive. The President will lead development, implementation and fulfillment of marketing and communication activities for Ford Canada business, through team of 5 reports (Planning, Acct Mgmt, Media, Mktg, Retail) internal partners in other Y&R functional depts and leaders of other partner agencies. Fluency in Owned, Earned and Paid communication disciplines and in-depth knowledge of digital space (particularly social, mobile, display and search marketing) are key competencies. Developing strong relationships with creative and media agency partners to facilitate integration and shared success is particularly important. Leading and championing integrated effort is a key responsibility as well as building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients. He or she also has key involvement in attracting and developing Acct Mgmt professionals capable of achieving these goals.
President will allocate his/her time as follows: Leadership 50% ,

Skills Requirements:
Required Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, and
10+ years experience in communications, marketing, advertising, or related occupation in a corporate and/or agency environment, and
at least five years of experience managing corporate and marketing communication services at a senior management level.
Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
Prior experience must include digital marketing, spanning the owned website/mobile/CRM), earned (social media/PR), paid (advertising) spectrum;
5+ years experience with broader brand and global planning and operations which includes corporate, retail and all aspects of a business;
10+ years experience that shows the ability to develop, justify and implement communications strategies;
10+ years experience developing and managing a team of professionals, including leveraging each member’s expertise;
experience in hiring and coaching associates as well as building required infrastructure for delivery of corporate communication services;
10+ years experience budget management skills.
