Injection Moulder - plastic manufacturing
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, On Call, Overtime, Weekend, Day
Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Barrie, Ontario (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Specific Skills: Operate mixing machine to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity, Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, Trimming and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts
Additional Skills: Monitor and inspect quality of material produced, Maintain records and inventory, Pack items for shipping and distribution
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Ability to distinguish between colours, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is not available
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information:This position is located 15km outside of Barrie, public transportation is not available. Previous experience an asset. Please quote O-1 when applying. Days and afternoons.
