Shift Technician - Production Location, Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. Large supplier to the agricultural sector requires a Production Technician to join their production team. This position will focus on the technical controlling and adjusting of the production lines throughout your shift.

Requirements: Relevant Technical Qualification - Engineering or Trade. Minimum 5 years experience in a production department. 3 years supervisory experience. Experience with extrusion machinery - highly advantageous. Knowledge of PLC's. Must be able to work shifts - 12hour shifts 7 days/week (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, 4 days off).

Some duties and responsibilities: Technical controlling and adjusting of the production lines throughout the shift. Set-up of production lines. Change-overs. Achieve production targets and maintain high efficiency level. Supervision of the shift team consisting of ± 5 people. Stand in for QC Operator and Coiler Operator as needed.
