About us: Elevation Drafting is a Survey Drafting business based in Melbourne's inner south-eastern suburbs. We work with surveyors and related professionals around Victoria and New South Wales and we consider ourselves one of the leaders in this highly specialised industry.

Our client base includes a number of well-established land surveying practices, as well as companies in areas such as underground utility location, architecture and engineering. Our team completes a wide variety of plans for our clients, including feature/detail surveys, site plans, subdivisions, site analysis plans and as-built plans. With demand expected to remain strong in 2019, we're looking at bringing on some extra help. About the role: This is a permanent role with a short casual probationary period at the beginning. We're keen to see what you can bring to the table, hence the job ad being titled "Expressions of interest".

The role can be customised to suit the right applicant - anywhere from 25 hours per week, up to full-time. It could be equally suited to a homemaker who is seeking 5-6 hours a day, or an office worker who is sick of the daily commute and loves the idea of working full-time from home.

The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, and your work can be completed anywhere between those times. The choice is yours. Please bear in mind that the successful applicant may be required to work an occasional Saturday as per business needs. CAD software (AutoCAD) and hardware (laptop) will be provided, exclusively for business use.

About you the successful candidate should have the following: A minimum of 2 years in the Surveying industries of either Victoria or New South Wales, and able to "hit the ground running". Intermediate/Advanced skills in AutoCAD or compatible software. A strong understanding of local surveying methods and regulations. Excellent time management skills. Extremely strong attention to detail - we pride ourselves on delivering absolute top-quality plans with maximum accuracy.

Be familiar with modern internet technology (ie email, cloud storage). Be based in Melbourne or within reasonable travelling distance, as occasional visits to the head office will be required.
