Senior Administration Assistant, THE FIRM Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs. My client helps business owners realise their goals and dreams.  Client partnerships have a multifaceted approach that incorporates accounting, financial advice and management consultancy through their Better Business Program.

THE ROLE: The firm is growing and this new position presents an exciting opportunity for a highly organized Accountant’s Administrator to join the team.  The objectives for this role include:- providing all encompassing client and administration support managing client records coordinating the Annual Review process managing ASIC, ABR and ATO lodgments issue and oversee accounts receivable in Xero organizing client seminars / educational events including arranging speakers, event promotion, RSVPs, implementation and follow up providing Executive Assistance to the Directors on boarding new clients

YOU: You will be an experienced Accountant’s Administrator who enjoys variety and has a strong focus on client service and office organisation.  

With a strong history of supporting accounting workflow, you will be confident to lodge tax returns via the ATO portal, manage ASIC registers, apply for ABNs and manage client queries.  With experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, Xero as well as Handisoft (or a similar practice management software program) you will confidently coordinate all accounting administration functions.

You will be IT savvy and embrace the technology that provides streamlined solutions to allow the team to spend more time with clients.

Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure the accuracy of records and your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will deliver superior client service.

Your first 3 months objectives will include:- providing strong administration assistance to the team from day 1 building rapport with the team and with clients as you learn and understand the business working with the directors to develop this role and set your 12 month objectives.

 Year one and beyond offers but is not limited to:- participation in an administration systems review overseeing various software advancements coordinating and implementing the agreed improvements
