HR and Training Officer, Location, Pinetown, West Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time, Qualifications, Relevant HR tertiary qualification.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Must have experience and working knowledge of the seta grant application process. Must have experience with conducting a training needs analysis, the development of training plans and the implementation there of. Ideally must have worked with VIP and ESS Strong computer literacy.
Main Responsibilities: Employee Development: promote employee development through managing training and succession planning.
Skills Development: pro-actively manage discretionary seta grants, funding and training. Performance Management. Provide support with the completion and submission of statutory reports (EE, WSP, ATR). Performance Appraisals: Roll out of performance appraisals bi-annually.
Employment Equity: Co-ordinate EE meetings, reports and plans. HR Generalist Functions: assist with recruitment and industrial relations matters (disciplinary hearings, sanctions etc) Minimum Critical Requirements and Job Description: Have a passion for training and people development. Good self-management and organisational skills. Some HR generalist experience an advantage. Strong computer literacy.
