Compliance Officer, Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs, Compliance Officer. The Service Trades College Australia (STC) is an industry owned Centre of Excellence and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) operating from a state of the art centre in the south of Brisbane.  STC delivers training and professional development for the commercial plumbing, mechanical services (air-conditioning) and fire protection industries.

We are seeking a part time (ongoing) RTO Compliance Officer for 3 days per week to ensure that STC meets all Training (VET) Quality Framework legislative compliance and funding contract requirements.  Reporting to the General Manager Queensland you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the systems that support organisational compliance including quality audits, continuous improvement initiatives and review of training policies. The Role Responsibilities will include: Managing and maintaining all compliance and validation processes and documents to ensure that the College meets all legislative and regulatory compliance requirements.

Managing the Improvement Register and Quality Management System. Managing funding contracts and implementing compliance related changes. Planning and executing internal audits. Supporting and educating STC trainers and staff in compliance processes. Provide compliance and validation management reports. Assist with preparation for external compliance audits.

 About You The right person for the role will have: Previous experience working in a compliance role in an RTO environment. Knowledge and understanding of VET Quality Framework (VQF) and Standards for RTOs 2015 together with a funding contract (e.g. QLD User Choice). A proven track record in planning and conducting industry compliance and validation sessions, risk assessments and audits. High level stakeholder skills and the ability to build relationships. Lateral thinker, with a ‘can do’ attitude and good problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and formal qualifications in Quality Auditing or related discipline (desirable).
