Junior Operations / Warehouse Assistant (DBN) Non-EE, Location, Waterfall, West Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time.

An established national transport company provides a great opportunity for a Junior Operations/ Warehouse Assistant. The successful candidate will have warehouse/ office driver responsibilities. This position is based in Durban (western suburbs). Will consider candidates willing to relocate.

Job Description: Assist in the warehouse/ shipment management and overall quality control of operations in our Durban branch. Assist in the supervision and management of our blue-collar workers. Local & surrounds Office driver responsibilities as and when required. Effective client liaison & pro-active problem-solving. Administration and inventory management. Working every third weekend and standby on other weekends.

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12/ similar qualification (a relevant tertiary qualification beneficial). No/ minimal work experience (2 – 5 years relevant experience ideal). Proficient verbal & written communication skills in Afrikaans & English. A drivers’ license & own reliable transport (a Code 10/ 14 highly beneficial). Any technical skills/ experience highly beneficial (woodwork, welding, mechanical etc.) Willing to work every third weekend & every other weekend on standby. Willing to work overtime as & when required. Computer literate and Microsoft Office competency. Assertiveness skills & ability to deal with difficult people. Salary: R9000 to R13000 CTC, depending on skill and experience.
