The UTS Student Administration Unit (SAU) is part of the Corporate Services Division and supports the UTS Vision to be a world-leading university of technology by facilitating all aspects of the student lifecycle - from enquiry to graduation.

The Officer, Student and Faculty Services Workforce is required to support all functions within the Workforce Management Team including recruitment, training, staff rostering and management. The Officer manages a number of competing priorities while monitoring and ensuring operational and customer service standards are met.

Main duties/responsibilities: Supporting core administrative functions relating to workforce processes, best practices principles and assisting the Managers and Coordinator, Workforce, with daily operational activities including managing the Workforce allocations, developing rosters and communications with Workforce and other Student Administration staff members. Participating in and supporting the staff rotation program to ensure the program is implemented and maintained effectively. Assisting in organising the recruitment process of Student Administration Unit staff with a focus on delivering appropriate recruitment processes and contract management Administration. Overseeing the administration of staff training registers, training materials, on boarding, pay claims, and exit processes.

Main skills/experience required: Proven experience in a similar role dealing with student lifecycle administration and supporting activities. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement systems. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication as well as conflict resolution skills. Previous experience in events management is highly desirable.

Remuneration: Base Salary Range: $68,973to $78,906pa (HEW 5). The university offers 9.5% superannuation in addition to base salary. This is a fixed term full-time position until 31st January 2020.
