Project Manager – Research Teams, University of Sydney, Darlington NSW, Opportunity to support the Brain and Mind Centre Strategy. Located at Camperdown Campus. Full-time, fixed term for 7 months, base salary $119K - $126K p.a plus superannuation. About the opportunity: Open to University of Sydney employees only We are seeking a Project Manager – Research Teams (PMRT) to provide project management leadership and guidance to the Brain and Mind Centre Multidisciplinary Research Teams and associated initiatives, complimentary to the University wide, Brain and Mind Centre Strategy.

The PMRT leads collaborations with senior researchers across University campuses and external to the University, managing stakeholders and communications, ensuring effective collaboration and team work with other team members. as well as internal and external stakeholders.

As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Project Manager – Research Teams who has: extensive experience leading, developing and managing multiple complex projects, utilising data to support successful planning, delivery and reporting high level data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills with an ability to critically evaluate and synthesise information into productive and accessible formats ability to think strategically to support feasible, sustainable funding models and to synthesise complex information in order to provide expert recommendations experience in developing, leading, managing and working as part of a team including prioritising workloads and delegating tasks appropriately such that deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound consultation, persuasion, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion, in order to maintain effective collaborative working relationships in diverse environments internal and external to the University
