Dynamic Graphic Designer wanted, Location: Bellville, Northern Suburbs. A National Restaurant franchise is in need of an dynamic graphic designer in Cape Town. This position is ideal for a creative, confident and experienced designer with a strong mind-set, good project management skills, able to work in a team under tight deadlines, and willing to grow within the company. We require a meticulous worker with good attention to detail reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and assist with the layout, design, setup and implementation of all electronic and print artworks, campaigns, outdoor and digital branding (social media and website). Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, and developing interactive design. Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time. Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging technologies. Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.

Working as a part of a team with other Graphic Designers, a Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager. Ability to work in high-pressured environments. Work to a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt style if needed. Ensure quality control create quality print-ready files and sign off proofs. Managing and checking of proof prints. Liaising with external production facilities regarding artwork and marketing collateral. Preparation of artwork into Print-ready files for supply and production. Minimum Requirements. A graphics design qualification. 2-years office experience. Portfolio of work essential. Understanding of print design, layout and typography.

Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects at once. Time management skills and deadline savvy. Managing the digital artwork assets and maintaining good file architecture. Fluent English communication. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Ability to follow departmental processes. Ability to work creatively under pressure and to deliver on deadline. Good communication skills. Own Transport.

Software Requirements: Adobe Creative Suite (Especially illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). CorelDraw (Basic - Intermediate). MS Office Outlook (Office use). Photography, animation and video editing is a bonus. Salary: R15 000 per month, depending on experience. Must be able to start as soon as possible. Area: Tygerberg Hills.
