Packer, the Independent Liquor Group Co-Operative Limited, Northern QLD. The Independent Liquor Group Co-operative (ILG) is one of Australia's leading liquor wholesalers servicing over 1600 liquor outlets across QLD and NSW.

We currently have a vacancy for a casual Packer to join the team at our Townsville Warehouse, on full time hours.

The successful candidate will require a minimum two years experience as a Packer  with the ability and experience to pick and pack orders while working in a fast paced warehouse environment. If you have a stable work background as a Storeman and previous experience in warehouse distribution, your application will be viewed favourably, especially if you have worked in liquor or the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate would also hold a current Forklift licence with High Reach and Counter Balance experience

To be considered for this role you must have a relevant experience , be enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking with good communication skills and have basic computer knowledge.  You will be self motivated and enjoy working in a team environment, combined with a positive "can-do" attitude to get the job done.

Duties and Requirements: Picking/Packing of orders for dispatch. Experience in RF Scanning. Responsible for self management and communication with  warehouse forklift drivers/packers to ensure product is moved safely. General warehouse duties and housekeeping. Safety focus at all times in accordance with WHS Guidelines. Be physically fit and able to lift at least 25 kgs. A Forklift Licence and High Reach Counter Balance Forklift Operation for receiving and unloading of product would be desirable.
