Location: Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. We are a successful audit firm based in the Northern Suburbs and currently have an Assistant Manager position available. The Assistant Manager will primarily be responsible for assisting with management of a large client portfolio.

Some of the duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting with management of a large client portfolio; Assisting with the oversight (monitoring) function; Assisting with management of SAICA trainees within a team; Assisting with reviewing engagements performed by the team (including audit, independent review and compilation engagements); Assisting with training of trainees within a team; Act as direct reporting line for all trainees within a team; Assisting with monitoring of engagements performed by the team (with regards to deadlines, budgets, work-in-progress, performance overall); Assisting with work-in-progress management and staff planning.

Requirements: Hard working and motivated; Willingness to work longer hours as and when required; Valid driver's license; Completed a SAICA or SAIPA accredited degree; Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles; Registered as an Associate General Accountant (SA) with SAICA or Professional Accountant (SA) with SAIPA; Good communication skills in both English and Afrikaans; Preferable residing in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
