Location: Kuils River, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Full-time Technical Sales Assistant needed Salary: R5,000 - R8,000 plus attractive commission scheme. SHEVS (Pty) Ltd is a small company with 9-15 employees operating within the field of fire engineering. Our activities span from refurbishment of buildings, installation of smoke ventilation systems and servicing of ventilation equipment in buildings. We are looking for a young and energetic technical sales assistant to join our sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities to include: Greeting customers and assisting them with any  queries. Reporting complaints to a manager or supervisor. Maintain and expand client database. Research accounts and generate or follow up through sales leads. Helping other staff with administrative work. Keeping up to date with the features and benefits of each product. Managing service clients. Set up appointments and carry out sales visits. Qualify potential clients by phone or other means. Where required, to liaise with superior to carry out pre-proposal on site surveys if required. Delivering/submitting quotations/proposals to clients and using proven sales skills to secure service work contracts with clients. Concluding servicing contracts with clients. You will need to ensure clear and regular communication between yourself and your technical colleagues.

Experience and Requirements: Sales or other proven work experience. Strong communication , negotiation and interpersonal skills. Building relationships with customers. Self-motivated and driven. MINIMUM of Matric- Grade 12. Drivers license.
