Location: Somerset West, Helderberg, Job Type: Part-Time. Are you a mother at home, with high level MDA accounting skills, wanting to work 1 – 2 days per week, on a fairly flexible basis? May be our requirements and yours are aligned. We are a fast growing, small to medium sized property company in Somerset West, with a property portfolio mainly in the Western Cape.  We are looking for a self disciplined, mature person with high level MDA and accounting skills to initially take control of accounting and tenant billing, using MDA. If you do not have well developed MDA knowledge and skills you will not be able to assist us. We see the position developing in the medium term (1 – 3 years) into a full financial manager position; accordingly the time requirement may gradually increase. In future, skills in Pastel and Pastel Payroll is essential. The ideal person will have full SAIPA and possibly SAICA membership and/or 3 – 5 years of accounting and MDA experience. Key performance areas for the moment will be accounting in MDA for the property companies in the group and managing tenant accounts and billing. Commensurate with the growth of the company the person may want to spend more time at work and the additional tasks foreseen in such a scenario could include budgeting and accounting for all companies in the group inclusive of consolidation and board reporting, tax management, company secretarial work, insurance management, audit management, risk management and compliance management.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with the professional skills level of the incumbent and the time available at work.
