IT Officer, City: Abu Dhabi, Industry: IT/Computers – Software, Career: Mid Career, Job Type: Full Time, Gender: Female. Work closely with the Head of IT to develop and implement IT policies, procedures and standards relating to IT and telecommunication systems. Input to the development and implementation of client s IT strategy. Provide a full range of IT support across the head office including hardware and software, network, IT security and telecommunications. Administer troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery and ensure integrity of IT systems. Ensure all hardware systems are virus protected and implement appropriate systems security measures to prevent any unauthorized access of data / systems. Perform troubleshooting across all IT hardware / software including workstations, networks, software applications, phones, copiers and other technologies. Provide a robust IT back up support service troubleshooting queries and providing 1st level resolution of faults. Manage and maintain an IT fault report log ensuring faults are followed up and resolved in a timely manner escalating when necessary. Manage relationships with and delivery of any third party suppliers as per contractual terms. Consolidate and analyse business requirements, prioritizing needs in line with the business priorities and make recommendations on development of IT infrastructure. Work with business heads and support evaluation and selection of IT vendors ensuring business specifications are translated into technical specifications and delivered accordingly. Manage the design, implementation and maintenance of the ERP system. Support systems testing, implementation and training. Manage and maintain an IT asset register. Develop, implement and manage Service Level Agreement (SLAs) with third party suppliers. Keep up to date with new IT technologies and make recommendations for future developments to software or operating systems

Job Requirements: Graduate degree in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum of 5 years experience with 2 years in a similar role. Knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking systems. Experience of systems analysis, design and software programming. Experience of ERP, including analysis, design and development utilizing ERP Tools (eg. SQL, Crystal Reports etc.). Understanding of all phases of the application development life cycle, specifically related to ERP Systems. Prefer Female Candidate
