Service Advisor / Workshop Manager, Location: Umhlanga, North Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. A company, specialising in the service and repair of vehicles, and with workshops throughout South Africa, is looking for a motivated Service Advisor.

Duties – including but not limited to the below Customers: Booking in customer vehicles. Test driving vehicles before instructions are given to the Mechanics. Quotations. Dealing with all comebacks.

Workshop: Manage Mechanics, Fitters and Cleaners. Allocate work to workshop employees and control productivity. Ensure Mechanics find and report every fault on every vehicle. Ensure parts arrive on time. Ensure Mechanics comply with “Mechanics check list and duties” Check that all parts supplied to Mechanics are fitted (check that old parts are put into vehicle boot). Supervise complicated repairs. Diagnose problems. Ensure workshop staff comply with the requirements of the Occupational Safety Act.

Reception: Supervise administrator duties. Ensure control systems are kept strictly up to date. Responsible for discipline including time keeping. Training of other managers / secretaries and franchises.

Requirements: Matric 4 Years’ experience in business management and vehice repair background Valid drivers’ license and own vehicle Computer literate in MS Office. Must be willing to travel to JHB for 2 weeks training at the Head Office. Permanent position. Salary: Market Related / Will be addressed in the interview.
