Unit Manager PGM Sales Our client, a leading international Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Unit Manager: PGM Sales person at their plant in Brakpan on the East Rand.

Summary: The role of a Unit Manager PGM Sales is contract management (execution of sales and toll refining contracts) and customer relationship management

The appointee should: Have a Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Financial Accounting, Financial Management or technical subject. Have at least 5 years financial accounting experience within a precious metals sales and distribution environment. Have Mining industry experience. Have an analytical, enquiring mind. Have the ability to cope with pressure. Be proficient in MS Office. Pay attention to detail.

Have strong planning and execution skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact independently with all stakeholders, including external consultants; Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Be Self-motivated and a strong team player; Be declared medically fit to function in the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at a relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational.

Advantageous requirements: Post graduate qualification in Financial Accounting, Financial Management or technical subject.

Key responsibilities include: Contract management (execution of sales and toll refining contracts) and customer relationship management. Sales planning (allocation of metal to customers), working closely with internal stakeholders. On-boarding of potential new customers. Management and delivery of all back-office functions (order taking, invoicing, pricing, revenue collection, reporting and controls). Logistics to delivery metal to customers. Creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and controls.
