Accounts Receivable Manager

The Company

A Dublin based multi-national organisation is seeking an immediately available Accounts Receivable Manager on a lucrative Daily Rate basis.

The Position

    The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience.
    Oversee and control proper recording and application of cash and management of outstanding invoices.
    Serve as initial contact for general ledger inquiries and requests, including all related research and analysis on accounts.
    Interface with customers on credit and collection matters.
    Prepare and analyse bad debt reports.
    Approve and post cash, accounts receivable adjustments, re-bills and related invoices to the general ledger.
    Post batch reports to journal entries and general ledger.
    Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
    Manager order entry and billing system.
    Provide various reporting metrics for monthly / quarterly accounting and variance reports.
    Lead and manage staff and establish and implement departmental policies and goals.

The Person

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent work experience.
    10+ years’ experience in accounts receivable, general accounting and collections.
    Experience with accounting software; strong PC skills, including Excel.
    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    Good management and communication skills.
    Strong project management and organizational skills.
    The ideal candidate will be immediately available for a Daily Rate Contract.
