Personal/Finance Assistant, Knysna, Eden. Remuneration: R15000 per month CTC. Location: Knysna. Education level: Degree. Job level: Mid Level. Travel requirement: Occasional. Type: Permanent. Company: Conversion Advantage. As a Personal/Finance Assistant, you will often act as the director’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the company.
Key responsibilities: Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing. Screening phone calls, emails, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate. Organising and maintaining the director’s meeting flow and scheduling appointments. Arranging local and international travel, visas and accommodation if needed. Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the director is well prepared for them. Compile daily client reports on platforms. Account reconciliation and remittance on a weekly and monthly basis. Prepare all payments to be made to suppliers on a weekly basis and ensure it is getting paid. Buying equipment, office supplies and stationery for the office. Filing, Keeping the inventory and insurance updated. Maturity to handle a range of situations. (NB) Bookkeeping on Pastel. HR Tasks: capturing of leave, advertising of new positions available, monitoring and sorting applications, schedule interviews, compiling contacts and monthly salaries. Be extremely tidy and organized. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong attention to detail. Must use discretion and possess an understanding of dealing with issues of confidential nature. Work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and industry specific software (which you will be trained in).
