Position Available Blow Pack Production Manager, Pinetown, West Suburbs. Our client, a market leader in rigid plastic packaging and the manufacturing and designing of moulded plastic for the dairy, beverage and industrial sector, is needing the abovementioned position filled.

The succesfull candidate would be responsible for, amongst other duties: KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS. Managing of Production Staff to ensure a motivated and high performing team. Managing of all machine and plant maintenance and production. Assisting with fault identification and fixing of root cause and ensuring the accurate completion of production logs and job cards.

Machine efficiencies of ≥85% Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements. Establish the budget for mould expenses and equipment including the control of consumable costs. Controlling spares usage and costs. Partnering with SHEQ to ensure the correct standards in accordance with ISO quality system are maintained. Ensuring they run a Polyoak standard Factory. Overseeing and assisting with training of all Production staff.

Working with SHE to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures. Ensuring Proper housekeeping by maintaining a minimum score of 95% on the housekeeping checklist 100% adherence to the dress code.

To be considered for this position applications must meet the following criteria: COMPETENCIES BTech or N6 or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification. 8 - 10 years Manufacturing Production experience, ideally FMCG and/or continuous high-speed production. 3 - 5 years Production/Plant/BU Management experience essential.
