Spring Manufacturer requires Production/Factory Manager, Kempton Park, East Rand

Our well established and rapidly growing spring manufacturing company has an exciting new position available for a Production Manager and/or business partner. The position is in conjunction with our investment and expansion roll out strategy for 2020.

The right candidate should have at least 5 years experience in the spring manufacturing industry and have an engineering knowledge of the spring making process. However, an engineering background in either the Electrical, Defence or Medical component industries involving the usage of springs will be considered as an advantage.

Duties: Overall Production Planning, Forecasting & Scheduling for The Business Floor staff management. Ensuring the core values of our business are upheld and met.

Requirements: Knowledge of maintenance systems, CNC machines and practices. Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control. Understanding of production methodologies & lean manufacturing practices. Strong leadership and good communication skills. Computer literate. Understanding of budgets and costing. Salary is highly negotiable and dependent on experience and value add.
