Enrolled Nurse, Bellville, Northern Suburbs, An exciting career opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse who wishes to join a team of professionals in the private sector.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 4 years’ experience with the following experience.

Responsibility: Practice patient care according to the company standards operating procedures (SOP’s). Ensure a current plan of care for each patient, working towards long and short term goals. Ensure the physical, social and physiological well being of patients, which includes the regular monitoring of their health and treatment. Perform the required nursing procedures which fall within the scope of an Enrolled Nurse. (Staff Nurse). Attend handover sessions and unit meetings.

Refer any queries to the supervisor/shift leader. Delivers quality nursing care in collaboration. Maintain the confidentiality of diagnosis, treatment, patients, and families. Assist with the in service training of basic nursing and management of the patients. Maintain correct patient’s records ensuring that all information is currently liaised to all staff.

Report faulty equipment. Assisting the Medical Practitioner in the pre-screening, treatment and care of patients. Maintain emergency trolley in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain correct administration, recording and storage of medicines and dressing materials.

Education & Qualifications: Nursing Diploma. Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Basic Life Support Course by an accredited Service Provider. Flexible in working hours / shifts. Computer Literate.
