Permanent Fashion Retail Sales Assistant, Inner City, Johannesburg. A successful high-end boutique retailer focusing in clothing and accessories is seeking to employ a proactive Sales Assistant for their branch in Morningside Shopping Centre - Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be someone that has a background in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:Greeting customers who enter the shop. Be involved in stock control and management. Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments. Stocking shelves with merchandise. Answering queries from customers. Keeping the store tidy and clean. Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor. Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

Requirements: Grade 12. Experience as a retail sales consultant in a similar environment. Having a friendly and engaging personality. Should have a confident manner. Must be helpful and polite. Able to work as part of a sales team. Sales personality. Able to work extended hours over the festive season, would need to be able to work later shifts at times.

Remuneration: Basic salary, commission on sales, fashion allowance.
