Administrative Assistant (Automotive Equipment Salesman Support), Pinelands, Southern Suburbs. Administrative Assistant (Automotive Equipment Salesman Support) autosupply.co.za is a young, driven and enthusiastic team focused in e-commerce store that supplies automotive equipment, accessories and parts across South Africa. We obsess to make our shopping experience as simple and hassle-free as possible for our customers (high-quality and well-priced products with exceptional customer support).
A big focus for us is car diagnostic scanners, specifically a brand called Autel (we are their largest African distributor) and we need someone to help assist the salesman with admin related to these sales and the support thereafter. You will be working closely with the diagnostic sales manager.
Administration related to diagnostic sales Pre-sale. If a salesman is not available taking calls on behalf of the salesman, getting the customers info and making sure that they get a response to their queries. Assisting the salesman with emails with additional product info and quotes to clients. Facilitating any technical questions between client, salesman and Autel engineers. Pick, Pack (software update) and record serial numbers. Making sure products leave the warehouse in a time-efficient manner (booking of couriers - International and national) & communicating with end client delivery expectations (tracking etc).
Post-sale Assisting with the communication/success of these clients. Facilitating any technical questions between client, salesman and Autel engineers. Wifi printing, registration details, data-logging and feedback etc. Documenting these processes for more effective communication of similar issues. Making sure WhatsApp support group queries are sorted. The groups are peer support, but some queries are left unassisted, your responsibility will be to make sure they are assisted (the link between customers and technical resources).
Diagnostic Returns/Repairs/Warranty/Service unit management. Manage machine returns/repairs. Logging machines and booking repairs in/out between us and our technical provider. Making sure all documentation is correct (booking form & spreadsheets). Manage repair communication and quotes. Manage service units (for clients within warranty).
Ideal Candidate: Matric (extra studies are beneficial). At least 2 years working experience within an office environment. NB Organized and pays attention to detail. NB Great communication skills. Work well under pressure and under minimal supervision. Someone that can take initiative and be flexible to learn and lead any responsibility.
