About the Role: Excellent opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Manager to join an investment company. The Group Financial Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and has the overall responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of financial accounting. 
Requirements: Relevant Tertiary Degree. Registered CA(SA). 5+ years’ post articles experience in a similar role. Property experience advantageous. Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Office, Case ware and Xero. Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task.
Duties: Responsible for the financial accounting and management teams to ensure accurate financial record keeping and timely reporting. Providing investors with guidance, by implementing trusts as well as corporate and commercial structures, to optimise tax benefits, wealth creation and risk mitigation. Head of the Chartered Accountants team which specialises in trust accounting and offers a variety of services including property tax, business accounting & personal tax. Review and authorising of weekly payments. Preparation of finance applications. Responsible for overall tax compliance by the group. Producing timely and relevant management accounts and control which includes margin analysis, project profitability, etc.
Development of innovative commercial structures which facilitate projects. Preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS for SME’s. Budget and Cashflow Management.
Consolidations: Interrogation of the reported monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual results. Prepare audit documentation for external auditors. Managing financial accountants and payroll administrator. Management of group of companies.
