Permanent Ecommerce Manager, Other, Northern Suburbs. Based in Blackheath, our client is a well-known and proudly South African brand that is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced E-commerce Manager to join their team.

The role: Reports to Marketing Manager. Be a core part of the marketing team. Highly proficient in Woo Commerce, WordPress and Google Analytics. Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce system integrations, SEO an UX. Strong analytical and numerical skills, ability to summarise data and information clearly and efficiently. Strong experience using Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Have the ability to focus on 6 different brands at the same time. Collaborate with the marketing manager to drive online sales. Implement and monitor a digital sales funnel and customer journey (path to purchase) for each brand.

Education, skills and experience required: Diploma in Digital Marketing or similar advantageous. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an e-commerce function. Experience in an e-commerce setting essential. Responsibilities include website management, analytics, content marketing and paid media campaigns.

Website management. Grow converting website traffic. SEO/SEM. Drive the creation of landing pages and content. Optimise user experience whilst understanding the user journey. Website development and optimisation. Maximising online conversions and reducing cart abandonment. Mobile optimisation. Online merchandising. Analytics, Campaign analysis, Ongoing website analysis. Report on our digital marketing overall performance. Competitor monitoring and analysis.

Database management, Lead generation, Email campaigns & marketing automation, Driving positive customer reviews, Social media. Together with 2x brand coordinators manage social media platforms with an agreed content plan.

Together with 2x brand coordinators manage FB and Instagram shop and explore new opportunities. Content and paid media. Digital advertising campaigns. Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry. Drive new and innovative growth online strategies. Manage and co-ordinate with external digital partners.

Content creation and optimisation in line with the content strategy and SEO recommendations. Project and team management. Digital campaign budgeting and maximizing Agency partner’s performance and ROAS. Collaborate with internal and external teams. Manage online chat and admin team. Report to the marketing manager and Co-founder/marketing director.
