Junior Accountant, Ceres, Cape Winelands. Our client is a packaging specialist for the agricultural and industrial markets and is actively recruiting for a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT at their office in Ceres. The position reports to the financial manager.

Job Description Your primary functions will include, but not limited to: Processing of transactions up to Trail balance, Invoicing, Monthly VAT submissions and payroll, Debtors and creditors management, Assist with yearly audit, Assist with cash flow management, Assist with stock holding, Assist with general administration, Support to Sales Team, Perform daily administrative tasks, update information, check reports and follow-up on outstanding issues. The position is varied and interesting and you will be dealing with clients, suppliers, and service providers.

Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or in the final year of studies. Completed SAIPA articles (not required, but advantageous). Experience with an accounting software program (essential). Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for success. Very high level of competency in Excel (Advanced).

Capabilities: Willingness to learn. Good written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English. Flexible and keen to assist the team and clients.
