Storeman - Ad posted by RAD Refrigeration, Athlone, Cape Flats. Storeman. An engineering/construction company in the Western Cape is seeking to employ a storeman with HVAC/Refrigeration knowledge/experience and a valid drivers' license.

Duties: (but not limited to) Store Requisitions, Purchase Orders & Deliveries. Ensure all purchase orders are printed timeously daily. Receiving of all supplier deliveries. Obtain quotations from suppliers timeously. Accurately issue all items as per site requisitions. Receive and document all returns including power tools, yard equipment, and materials.

Ordering of stock when low store stock levels. Ensure that all office and stock deliveries are on time by following up with suppliers. Monthly stock takes to be compiled accurately and completely. Write off schedule for Site and Stores to be submitted monthly.

Administration: Ensure that all agreed-upon timeframes for reporting back to all parties are adhered to. Manage all lines of communication effectively and timeously. Ensure all administrative duties are up to date and accurate at any given time. All documentation is to be updated, signed off, and submitted on time. General assistance when required. KNOWLEDGE.

Must have HVAC/Refrigeration experience. Supervision of assistants. Computer knowledge. Receiving and dispatching of material. Maintenance ability.

SKILLS: Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills. Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Conscientiousness. Strong admin skills to ensure no delays in the process.

Minimum Qualifications: Matric, Relevant course for storeman.

Minimum Experience: +/- 3 Years’ relevant industry experience
