A well-established national engineering firm, specializing in industrial automation, is currently looking for an Automation / Control Systems Engineer. This establishment is seeking to permanently employ a dynamic go-getter to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ FMCG experience with the following Responsibility: Implementing industrial automation solutions. Design & Implementing of Systems. Testing of systems. Review of electrical drawings and process descriptions. Technical support, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Industrial automation and process control engineering functions. PLC Programming. SCADA Development. MES Reporting. Factory acceptance testing and commissioning. Breakdown Assistance.

Having the following skills or knowledge will be highly advantageous: Schneider EcoStruxure Machine, Automation & Control Expert, Vijeo Designer. Aveva Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian, Plant SCADA (Citect). Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7. Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley RS Logix 500/5000. GE/Emerson PAC & SCADA. Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA. PLC's, SCADA, SQL, MS Windows & MS Server. Knowledge of Ethernet network configurations.

Education: Matric, B.Sc / B.Eng / B. Tech / National Diploma Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics.

PLC Programming:  Scada, SQL, MS Windows & Server, Modify & Improve PLC Code, Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work efficiently Must be meticulous & have sharp attention to detail.
