Financial Accountant (SAIPA / CIMA) - Durbanville, CT, Durbanville, Northern Suburbs. A renowned national Wealth and Property Investment company is looking for a “Financial Accountant” to join their team on a full-time permanent basis for their offices in Durbanville, Cape Town. Requirements: BCom Finance Degree or similar. 3-5 years’ experience within a similar role. Completed SAIPA / CIMA articles (advantageous). Advanced Excel/Smartsheets skills. Computer literate (MS Office, Xero, NetCash, Caseware). Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in Afrikaans and English. Self-motivated and well-organized. Ability to perform under pressure. Good negotiation and persuasion skills. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Key Performance Areas: Processing of all monthly accounts to Trial Balance. Preparing the necessary reconciliations on all accounts. Preparation of all monthly VAT returns where applicable. Debtors and Creditors Control. Bank Control. Management accounts preparation, budget review. Monthly/ Bi-Monthly Monthly/ Yearly statutory returns. Preparation of annual income tax and provisional tax calculations. Preparation of audit files for annual audits. Work with and liaise with auditors regarding the Annual Financial Statements.
