Well established company based in Saxenburg Park , Blackheath requires a dynamic Junior Bookkeeper to join the finance and admin team working within a fast paced and results driven environment. The role will involve both bookkeeping and Admin responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Daily processing of customer invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, delivery notes, Daily processing of bank transactions, Processing of Petty Cash Accounts. Producing sales orders/purchase orders/pro forma invoices. Monthly processing of credit card accounts/fleet cards. Monthly reconciliation of trade and non-trade creditors. Monthly reconciliation of Warranty accounts. Maintenance and updating companies assets register, cell phone  and office equipment register.

Follow up on timely payment of debtor accounts. Weekly preparation of orders/sales reports. Monthly preparation of expense reports. Prepares analysis of expense accounts, as required. Completion of monthly vat returns. Monthly stock control. Maintenance of imports and exported items for SARS reconciliation.

Assist Logistics with ordering/costing when required. Preparation of supporting documentation for annual financial statements and SARS tax return. Provide Admin support/ad hoc support to Financial Manager where required.

Requirements: Finance Degree or finance diploma (or at least studying towards this). Strong Knowledge of Vat. Minimum 2 years Finance / bookkeeping experience. Strong Ability to multi-task. Strong time management skills. Strong communication skills. Experience working with Pastel Evolution. Clear credit and criminal record. Not looking for slacker, time watchers, not in my job description staff. You best apply for other companies.
