SALARY: R18 000 /Month (Gross)

Purpose of the Job To support the company in meeting and exceeding the overall objectives of the Finance Department. Maintain good relations with customers, internal clients, staff and members of the Finance Department, all of which are indicated with on a regular basis

Responsibilities: Assist with implementing accounting system enhancements and streamline financial reporting. Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control. Establish procedures for safe custody assets, records and maintenance of asset register. Design/identify weaknesses on internal control and implement corrective measures. Prepare and provide management accounts and reports to CEO.

Preparation of monthly management accounts, (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, statement of changes in equity, notes, ratio analysis, graphical analysis and presentation ). Preparation of annual financial statement in accordance with IFRSs, (Statement of comprehensive income, cash flow statement, statement of changes in equity and the relevant notes). Provide leadership and direction to support staff (debtors, creditors and payroll) and ensure good quality control and strong communication.

Perform Day -to - Day duties Capturing creditors, debtor's invoices monthly. Cashbook and bank statement processing, Provide age analysis report to CEO.

Authorize and release payment , Do all reconciliations and file ensure that all general ledger journal entries ,provision , accruals, loans are prepared and reviewed on a monthly basis and sign off to this effect.

Ensure that all the company asset are on the Assets Register, Process journal to capitalize and dispose of Fixed Assets. Make sure that depreciation is calculated correctly.

Perform ad-hoc tasks Provide financial advice to the CEO any deals settlement agreement, acquisition and any other financial negotiations.

Budget preparation Compile, forecast and control annual budgets and financial statements. Weekly and quarterly phased cash flow forecasting. Develop\update costing model to provide more meaningful information to operational management. Ensure Statutory Compliance to Finance Standards. Compiling all the statutory returns and e-filling of SARS statutory returns ,(EMP 201;VAT 201,STC,company tax,IT14,TCC).

Adhere to IFRS-international Financial Report Standards GRAP-Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Assist in the Audit Process Year end Audit file and year end pack, Coordinate year - end audit and ensure all deadline are met. Liaise with Auditors and take accountability for agreeing and clearing item raised , Implementation of External and internal Audit recommendation.

Manage the Finance Team and ensure efficiency in the unit
