Budget Coordinator

Our Brand Marketing teams require the assistance of a Budget Coordinator to provide support for the brand marketing budgeting function. While overall accountability for the budgets will remain with the brand team, you will serve as the budget expert for the brand teams and be responsible for closely monitoring, updating and coordinating all of the budget activities.
Accountabilities:
 Manage the budget systems and processes for a particular sector. Ensure invoice payment and compliance
 Source estimates from team members and suppliers to use to open project accounts
 Assist brand marketers in budget process management, applications and systems.
 Use software (EMM) to set up spending budgets and project accounts
 Process all invoices against specific project accounts
 Provide bi-weekly updates regarding budget changes to brand marketers
 Work with brand marketers to monitor changes in budget according to changes in projects
 Maintain budget files and back-up for auditing purposes
 Manage the year-end accrual process
Qualifications
 Completed post-secondary education in business administration or related field is required (college or university)
 1-2 years of related experience including previous budgeting experience
 Time management, prioritization, STRONG organizational skills
 Exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management skills
 Strong proficiency with Systems, including MS Excel
 Proven ability to build relationships and navigate through a large organization
 Language Specifications: English mandatory, French optional
 There will be about 3 weeks cross training with the person currently in the position
