Spray Painter - motor vehicle manufacturing (truck body prepper / painter)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Day, Night
Salary: $17.00 to $21.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits, Dental Benefits, Disability Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Type of Paints or Coatings: Resinous, solvent drying paints, Catalyzed or polymerized paints
Type of Materials or Products: Aircraft or motor vehicles
Surface Preparation Methods: Water blasting, Steam cleaning, Abrasive disc wheel, Chemical techniques, Masking, Etching
Application Methods: Hand-held spray guns
Work Setting / Industry Experience: Component manufacturing industry
Specific Skills: Select appropriate paint or mix paints, Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings, Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat, Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
Additional Skills: Work in uncomfortable environments, HVLP (High-volume, Low-Pressure) Knowledge, Maintain records and inventory
Work Site Environment: Hot
