An accounting services company in Stellenbosch and Somerset West is looking for a young and energetic assistant accountant to assist with the accounting for multiple small businesses: Day to day bookkeeping. Month-end accounting and reconciliations. Reconciliation of creditors. Bank reconciliations and matching. Inter-company loan  reconciliations. Preparing monthly profit & loss reports. Preparing monthly management reports. Other ad hoc reconciliations and accounting work.

Preparing payslips for Salary runs, filing of EMP201's and EMP501. VAT report preparation.

Minimum Requirements: Matric + Relevant tertiary degree (Accounting degree/Diploma). Valid Driver’s License and Own transport. Afrikaans and English (Fluently -verbally and written). Proficiency in MS Office (EXCEL). Proficiency in cloud accounting software. General accounting and bookkeeping experience. Proficiency with e-filing. Salary R12,000 to R15,000.
