Hygiene Officer required immediately, Other, Cape Town. Company Name: CVR. A food company based in the Northern suburbs is looking for a Hygiene Officer to start as soon as possible.

Job Description: Managing the factory cleaning including, but not limited to adherence to procedures, safe chemical usage, use of correct PPE, and providing hands-on support. Issuing of chemicals and verification of concentrations daily and monthly. Drafting and maintaining all hygiene schedules to ensure timely and accurate completion, reviewing the schedules, and recommending improvements.

Carrying out hygiene audits. Maintaining hygiene stocks and consumables. Ensuring all operators are appropriately trained, in cleaning including the training of new and existing employees. Reviewing and improving hygiene best practices on site. Issuing protective clothing daily to staff. Conducting daily cleaning inspections. Coordinating deep cleaning in various departments daily. Drafting and reviewing cleaning instructions. Conducting cleaning validations. Monitoring, minimizing, and controlling waste. Providing support to the Technical Team by undertaking various projects.

Requirements: A diploma or degree in Food Science and Technology would be advantageous. 1-2 years' previous experience in a food factory and a similar role required. Self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. Assertive and adaptable; capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Understanding FSSC22000 and WW requirements would be a plus.
