Accountant (Retail/Manufacturing) - PAARL, Cape Winelands. Company Name: DC Meat. Accountant position in retail / manufacturing industry available in Paarl. The purpose of the accountant is to assist the Finance Department with accounting functions of all our group companies and to ensure that all bookkeeping functions are carried out correctly, accurately, on a timely basis and withing the deadlines required and will report to the designated manager.

Core activities:  Full accounting function up to trial balance level in Pastel Evolution.  Reconciliation of bank, debtors, creditors and inventory control accounts. Good working knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures. Be willing to step-in and help the team when and where necessary. Deadline drive, tolerant of stress and pressure and attention to detail. Ability to communicate well (written and verbal). Work accurately, quickly and with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritise work and deal with the most urgent demands swiftly and efficiently.

Minimum requirements: Completed SAIPA articles. Relevant tertiary qualification. Pastel Evolution exposure highly beneficial. 3 - 5 years bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office.
