Our Client an Accounting firm in Pretoria North is looking for an Accountant / Accounts Manager with 5++ years’ experience in full accounting and statutory calculations & Submissions and managing clients portfolio’s. Managing and overseeing other staff and or clerks. SAGE, Case ware, Excel, and SARS experience are essential. Must be able to deal with all AFS related matter, Must be a registered TAX practitioner.

Salary R 40 000 – R 45 000 Office hours 8 to 5pm (some overtime to complete deadline will be needed).

Min Requirements: Matric with relevant financial qualification5 years +++experience as an accountant/accounting manager Must be a registered TAX practitioner Case Ware and SAGE online experience Essential Payroll and Statutory experience – SARS Staff management experience essential

Responsibilities: Full Accounting function for a set of clients Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations Maintaining the general ledger system Financial Statements are to be set up on Case ware Monitor that all accounting is up to date and report back to Financial Manager Review all work done weekly, monthly, and Yearly. All Statutory due dates are to be met. Clients Processing their Accounting must be reviewed in detail. Tax Compliance must be in place. Manage & Control over accountants to be done Ensure Financial Manager is informed on the clients and which clients are not sending information. All outstanding AFS must be implemented immediately to sort.
