Job Purpose: Provide general HR support by offering subject-matter expertise in various areas ensuring the effective management of personnel-related matters, through accurate and detailed administration; coordination/facilitation of disciplinary issues; leave; recruitment and selection; monthly attendance registers; while ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Outputs: Organize and maintain personnel records. Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave). Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides. Ensuring legal compliance, Implement and revise company policies. Answer employees queries about HR-related issues. Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules).

Drafting warning letters/disciplinary notifications as requested and assisting in setting up and coordinating/facilitating disciplinary inquiries/matter. Receiving/capturing/processing leave forms and ensuring balances are correct and up to date. Coordination of staff on boarding for all new starters; Manage the drafting and record keeping of all job profiles. Administer recruitment process. Manage exit process.

Requirements and skills: Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role. Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular). Thorough knowledge of labour laws. Excellent organizational skills. Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills. National Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources or relevant field. Ability to work under pressure.
