Experienced Restaurant General Manager, Sandton, Johannesburg.
Introduction: A very busy, upmarket restaurant in Sandton / Melrose area is looking for a experienced, skilled, energetic and passionate General Manager to join their team as soon as possible. Strong customer relations, staff management and training skills are crucial. Candidates must be trustworthy and have a long working history at previous employers. All references need to be provided and will be checked.
Duties & Responsibilities: Overall daily running of restaurant. Implement and maintain BOH & FOH procedures. Implement and maintain administrative procedures. Control operational costs. Identify measures to cut waste. Regularly review product quality and research new vendors. Ensure the highest sanitation and hygiene standards. Enforce compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
Desired Experience and Qualification: No less than 5 years experience as a General Manager at a restaurant. Excellent knowledge and understanding of restaurant software systems. Extensive experience in managing FOH & BOH staff.
Package and remuneration: 25 000ZAR - 35 000ZAR depending on candidate's skills, knowledge and experience
